We are looking for an experienced and confident Specialist Nurse in Coil and Implant Fitting to join our team on a sessional basis. This role is ideal for a qualified nurse seeking flexible hours within a supportive and well-organised practice.

About the Role
The post holder will provide coil and implant fitting and removal services to registered patients at the surgery.

Responsibilities include:
-Fitting and removing intrauterine devices (IUD/IUS) and subdermal implants safely and in line with national guidance.
-Providing post-procedure advice and follow-up care.
-Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
-Ensuring all procedures meet current clinical and infection control standards.
-Supporting the practice’s sexual and reproductive health services.
-About You

We’re looking for a clinician who is:
-A Registered Nurse (NMC registered) or equivalent qualified practitioner.
-Trained and currently competent in fitting and removing coils (IUD/IUS) and subdermal implants.
-Confident working independently within the scope of practice and in line with national guidelines.
-Committed to providing safe, respectful, and patient-centred care.
-Professional, reliable, and adaptable to fit within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable:
-Recent experience in primary care or sexual health settings.
-Evidence of up-to-date training and clinical competence in LARC provision.
